It absorbs water whether you're driving or you're parked. Brake fluid replacement is just a matter of time, not mileage. I don't think driving a car with mediocre spark plugs for a few weeks is doing to do permanent damage, it's just unpleasant until you get them replaced. Spark plugs do need to be replaced but when it's truly necessary you'll begin to notice drivability issues, harder starting, loss of mileage, CE light, or etc. In other words, if you've not taken your car off-road, not done lots of towing, only done lots of steady-speed freeway cruising, the differentials if they don't leak could likely run perfectly happy for a million miles. ![]() Differential fluids are just an " inspect, correct or replace if necessary" item. You have to read the footnotes carefully.
